Türkiye’s combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Bayraktar AKINCI, successfully completed the UAV-122 supersonic missile firing test.
Baykar, which produces the drone, published a video on its X account showing footage of the test firing of the İHA-122 missile.
Developed by Roketsan, The İHA-122 missile features high hit accuracy, low/high altitude orbit options, and high maneuverability.
Selçuk Bayraktar, Baykar’s chief technology officer, shared the video on his own account under the title “Golden Age of Turkish Aviation.”
Murat İkinci, general manager of Roketsan, said on his X account: “We are proudly progressing on the path drawn with our national technology”.
İkinci noted that the İHA-122 missile, developed by Roketsan, successfully completed the firing test conducted from the Akıncı UAV.
