VITEC Previews PRISM SFF at World Defense Show alongside ISR and Video Streaming Technologies

VITEC, a leader in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) video streaming solutions, will present its latest innovations at World Defense Show 2026, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, Saudi Arabia, 8–12 February. Visitors to stand H1F11 will experience the latest tactical video technologies, including a preview of the new PRISM SFF (small form factor) transcoder. Also on show will be VITEC’s VSNSeries video wall solutions, the TOUGH encoder family, and the MGW DiamondH, all designed to meet the needs of military and defense applications.

“Our focus at World Defense Show is on delivering resilient, adaptable, and agile video solutions that perform in the most demanding environments,” says Ghassan Dadokh, Senior Business Development Manager, VITEC. “The introduction of PRISM SFF reflects this commitment, combining the full capabilities of PRISM with a small form factor designed for deployments where space efficiency, power consumption, and operational reliability are critical.”

Designed to meet the requirements of customers with tight space constraints, PRISM SFF offers the rich functionality of VITEC’s PRISM platform, while fitting three units mounted in just 1RU of rack space. With no requirement for an external AC/DC power supply and reduced power consumption, it is well suited to a wide range of defense and security projects across varying workload requirements. The transcoder is capable of converting both live streams and media files into multiple broadcastquality H.264 or HEVC outputs using advanced preprocessing tools. It supports a wide array of streaming protocols, offers builtin redundancy and high availability, and preserves critical ISR metadata.

A further addition to VITEC’s offering at the show is the VSNSeries, VITEC’s advanced, highperformance video wall control solution. Designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of video wall requirements, the VSN Series provides a contemporary, compact solution for managing multioutput video walls, featuring robust, highdensity, rackmounted controllers engineered for complex video wall configurations.

VITEC’s World Defense Show lineup is rounded out with the MGW Pico+ TOUGH, the smallest and most powerefficient HEVC/H.264 HD/SD encoder under 400g, delivering highquality video at low bitrates, and the MGW Diamond TOUGH, a quadchannel HEVC/H.264 encoder with HDR support for lowlatency, multichannel streaming ideal for ISR missions. Also showcased is the compact MGW DiamondH, a versatile 4K and dualchannel HDMI encoder for realtime ISR video streaming over RF or satellite links, offering screen sharing, advanced stream protection (Zixi, SRT, RIST, ProMPEG), and PoE for rapid deployment in dynamic environments. An optional recording feature allows users to never lose content and to record missions for later analysis.
