Under The Patronage of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, The General Authority for Military Industries Announces The Return of World Defense Show in February 2026

Under the esteemed patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Vice Chairman of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), who will be opening the show, the Authority proudly announces World Defense Show 2026, scheduled to take place from February 8-12 , 2026 in Riyadh. The third edition will cement World Defense Show’s position as a leading global event.

World Defense Show embraces the inspired vision of the Kingdom’s leadership, demonstrated through this future-focused, domain-driven international event that aspires to set the gold standard for exhibitions on the global defense industry calendar. The show benefits from comprehensive support from all relevant ministries, authorities, and companies, with participation from strategic entities in both the public and private sectors of the Kingdom.

His Excellency Ahmad Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of GAMI for their generous patronage and unlimited support to the sector.

In 2026, WDS is poised to be even bigger. The purpose-built venue will expand once again——with a fourth exhibition hall, giving an impressive 58% increase in exhibition space compared to the first edition. All halls are designed to the highest international standards, ensuring optimal cooperation, partnership building, and enhanced visitor experience. 

With these enhancements, interest for participation remains exceptionally strong, as companies seek to secure their place at the leading defense platform to connect, communicate, and collaborate.

The event has witnessed significant growth with each edition, building from the inaugural WDS 2022 to the highly successful 2024 edition, which welcomed participation from over 773 exhibitors from 76 countries, the presence of more than 441 official international delegations, announced SAR 26 billion in deals, and 106,000 trade visits.
