The first Unmanned Systems Exhibition in the region, UMEX, will feature live UAV demonstrations during IDEX 2015.
UMEX 2015 live flying demonstrations will take place at Al Tarif, a purpose built airstrip one hour from ADNEC. The live demonstrations give companies the opportunity to demonstrate the take-off and recovery procedure as well as displaying sensor imagery on screens to a senior military and trade audience.
International companies currently participating include ADASI with its S-100 Scheibel Cam-Copter, INSITU / BOEING with its Integrator, DENEL with its Seeker, AAI/TEXTRON with its Aerosonde, SHENZEN AEE with its F50, GENERAL ATOMICS with its Predator and the POLISH AIR FORCE with its TBD.
