An insider told Hebrew media that on September 9, the airshow’s organizers sent formal notifications to several Israeli companies, informing them they would not be allowed to take part this year. The reason given was that the companies allegedly failed to meet certain registration criteria.
The source noted that these messages were sent on the same day Israeli airstrikes targeted a meeting of Hamas leaders in Doha who were discussing a US-proposed ceasefire in Gaza. This incident sparked widespread anger and condemnation across Gulf nations.
Additionally, Hebrew reports have confirmed that Israel’s Ministry of Defense received a similar notification from the organizers, though no further details about the message or whether the decision might be reversed were provided.
