Jet Aviation Basel has received on the 15th of October its maintenance organization certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Brazil, Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC). The certificate authorizes the MRO facility to support all Brazilian-registered aircraft within its capabilities.
With this approval, Jet Aviation Basel is authorized to provide line and base maintenance to all aircraft registered in Brazil that are covered within the company’s approved capability list. This includes Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft as well as Boeing BBJs and Airbus ACJs, including engine service, interior refurbishment and painting.
“We are pleased to expand our service offerings to meet the rising demand for high quality maintenance in this important Latin American market,” says Johannes Turzer, vice president and general manager of the Maintenance Center at Jet Aviation Basel. “We are aware of the high demand and expectations in this region and will continue to expand our service offerings to ensure we can meet their needs. Switzerland is equally accessible to Brazilian owners and operators as other major U.S. centers. We trust our outstanding service quality and strong engineering and refurbishment capabilities will be greatly valued by many of them.”
