ITEC 2017: Innovation through Collaboration in Military Training and Education: Focusing Efforts, Harvesting Success

ITEC 2017 is fast approaching. Taking place at Ahoy, Rotterdam in The Netherlands on 16-18 May, Europe’s leading military training and simulation event will feature a conference that covers topics across the broad spectrum in this evolving and ever-changing sector.
This three-day, multi-stream conference features sessions on M&S Technologies & Architectures, Training and Education- Requirements to Solutions, Dual Use Training Applications as well as a new stream on Advanced Engineering, an exclusive workshop on designing a stressful game and The F-35 Conference.
The ITEC 2017 Conference features an opening keynote panel with Dr Tom Killion, Chief Scientist of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Major General Martin Wijnen, Deputy Commander of the Royal Netherlands Army, and Ms Chérie Smith, Deputy Program Executive Officer, PEO STRI of the United States Army.

On the final day of ITEC 2017, The F-35 Conference , partnered with Lockheed Martin and sponsored by CAE, Rheinmetall Defence and Rockwell Collins, features content on both the training and interoperability aspects of the fifth generation fighter, based around the theme ‘F-35 Lightning II: A Cultural Shift in the Training and Integration Paradigm’. Air Commodore Robert Adang, Deputy Director of the European Air Group and Colonel Erik ‘Barrel’ Rab, Chief, Fighter Operations Branch of the Royal Netherlands Air Force lead the expert speaker line-up.
