North Macedonian defence company ICEMAK has received AQAP 2110:2016 certification for the production of less-lethal ammunition, confirming that its manufacturing processes meet NATO quality assurance requirements.
Based in Skopje, ICEMAK manufactures less-lethal ammunition, smoke grenades and other specialised products for military, law enforcement and security users. The company is also active in the international trade of weapons and defence equipment.
AQAP 2110:2016 is a NATO quality assurance standard for the design, development and production of defence-related products. It builds on ISO 9001 quality management principles and adds requirements tailored to defence procurement, including stricter controls over production processes, risk management, traceability and compliance with contractual requirements.
The certification provides additional assurance to ICEMAK’s international partners that its production processes follow quality requirements recognised within NATO defence procurement frameworks.
