Cutting-Edge Defense Technology on Show at IQDEX 2025

Baghdad, Iraq’s 13th International Defense Exhibition (IQDEX 2025) commenced today at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. This significant event, supported by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, underscores Iraq’s growing prominence in the international defense sector.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani officially opened the exhibition, touring displays from companies like Airbus, Sarsilmaz, and Pakistan’s GIDS to learn about their latest offerings.

The exhibition features 155 defense and security firms from 22 nations, including Belarus, China, Russia, Pakistan, India, and Turkiye, showcasing a wide array of military technologies from armored vehicles to cyber defense.

Running until April 22nd, IQDEX 2025 facilitates product demonstrations, meetings, and discussions, highlighting Iraq’s defense advancements and its dedication to regional and global security partnerships.
