AMETEK Singapore Expands Senior Team with Key Appointment

AMETEK Singapore PTE, a unit of AMETEK MRO, has expanded its senior team with the appointment of Brian Hunter to the newly created position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Mr. Hunter has a wealth of aerospace experience gained in diverse roles over the past 25 years.

“This is an important milestone in the development of our Asian business unit; highlighting our continued commitment to expanding our services to customers in the Asia Pacific region,” comments Vin Misciagna, Vice President & General Manager of AMETEK MRO. “A key focus for the new position is to develop the capability base for the Singapore MRO, which in turn will further support our network of AMETEK MRO businesses across North America and Europe.”

Mr. Hunter brings broad aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) experience covering engineering, business development and operations in airline, MRO and OEM businesses, both in the Asia/Pacific and Middle East markets, to his new position. Most recently he led the Asia Pacific Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) program of UTC Aerospace Systems, overseeing the launch of a number of support solutions including its B787 programs in the region.

AMETEK Singapore PTE Ltd is an approved repair station that specializes in hydraulic, pneumatic, brake, oxygen, fire extinguisher, and generator repair and overhaul services for commercial aircraft and helicopters.
