Turkey’s Defense Giants Aselsan and Havelsan Secure $68 Million Deal to Supply Radar and Identification Systems to Asia-Pacific Country

The Turkish defense companies Aselsan and Havelsan signed a joint deal to sell military equipment to a country for $68 million.

Aselsan stated in a press release issued on Friday that the deal was reached with a country in the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the agreement, the two companies will supply this unnamed country with a radar system and a friend-or-foe identification system.

Aselsan was founded in 1975 as an initiative of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation to meet the Turkish army’s communication needs. It is known for producing electronic systems and devices for military purposes.

Aselsan is one of Turkey’s leading companies in designing, producing, and installing communication tools and systems for land, air, and naval forces according to military standards.
