Teknofest concludes its activities with more than one million visitors in 5 days

The Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival (Teknofest), which took place in Turkey’s southern province of Adana from October 2-6, has concluded. The festival was held at Şakirpaşa Airport, and Anadolu Agency participated as a global media partner.

The official Teknofest account announced in a statement on Sunday that the festival welcomed 1.1 million visitors since its opening.

The statement clarified that the festival showcased numerous projects ranging from unmanned aerial vehicles to artificial intelligence, and from autonomous systems to space technologies. It also added that among the visitors were 400,000 students who participated in special projects aimed at inspiring the next generation’s passion for aviation and space technology.

Teknofest is seen as an important platform for discovering young talents and showcasing their technological innovations, such as rockets and robots, with support from government institutions.

The festival plays a significant role in advancing technology in Turkey, with the participation of numerous Turkish institutions, and its first edition was held in 2018.
