VITEC, a provider of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) video streaming solutions, will exhibit for the first time at the AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition 2026, October 12–14, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Booth 7543 in Hall DE will feature the PRISM SFF (small form factor), VITEC’s most compact transcoder to date. Also on show will be VITEC’s TOUGH encoder family and MGW Diamond H, designed for military and defense applications.
“Our team here in the US supports federal and defense customers who need to distribute the same video to systems with different format requirements,” said Dan Quinn, VP, Federal Sales at VITEC. “Space, power and bandwidth can be limited, particularly in mobile installations. Exhibiting at AUSA for the first time gives us an opportunity to discuss those practical constraints with customers and demonstrate how PRISM SFF can fit into their existing systems.”
VITEC’s AUSA debut marks a milestone for its US business, building on an established presence and record of success in the region. The US federal and defense market is strategically important to the company, with a dedicated US team supporting customers in the sector. Exhibiting at AUSA reinforces VITEC’s continued investment in that market.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the PRISM SFF. The compact transcoder accepts live IP streams as well as file-based content and generates multiple H.264 or HEVC outputs. Operators can resize video and reduce bit rates to suit the receiving system or available network capacity. Integration with ChannelLink supports the movement of video across existing contribution and distribution networks. Its compact design allows three units to fit within just a single 1RU chassis.
VITEC’s TOUGH encoder family and MGW Diamond-H will also be on display. The TOUGH range is designed for low-latency ISR streaming in harsh environments, using rugged, fanless enclosures. Support for KLV metadata allows tactical information to remain associated with the video, with streams compliant with STANAG 4609/MISB imagery standards. MGW Diamond-H provides compact HEVC encoding for 4K or dual-channel HD video, with HDMI and SDI inputs. Its HDMI loop-through enables operators to view an HDMI source locally while distributing it over the network, and power over Ethernet (PoE) support allows the unit to receive power through its network connection.
Meet VITEC’s US federal team at Booth 7543 in Hall DE during AUSA 2026 to discuss deployment requirements and see the products on display.
