Saudi Military Industries Corporation Participates in EDEX 2021

President of Saudi Arabia’s General Military Industries Corporation Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Madhy visited Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Morsi in the Ministry’s headquarters in Cairo.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to support joint cooperation and chances of exchanging expertise and manufacturing technology in various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The Military Industries Corporation is currently participating in the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) being held in Cairo between November 29 and December 2.

The award-winning show presents a unique opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest technology, equipment and systems across land, sea, and air.

EDEX is the only tri-service defence and security exhibition in North Africa and is fully supported by Egyptian Armed Forces.

The Military Industries Corporation (MIC) is a state-owned enterprise in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, it runs armament factories in the nation, and develops Saudi Arabia’s military base through research and development and technology transfer. Since 2017, MIC became a part of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI).
