HAVELSAN to Showcase ADVENT, BAHA and Border Security Solutions at AFRIDEX 2026 in Nigeria

HAVELSAN will participate in AFRIDEX 2026, taking place on 26–29 October at Eko Atlantic in Lagos, Nigeria. At Booth 2117 in the Türkiye Pavilion, the company will present its defence and security capabilities, with discussions focusing on border security, naval modernisation, unmanned systems and training.

HAVELSAN’s references in Nigeria include exports of the ADVENT Combat Management System, BAHA autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle and shooting simulators. The company has delivered two 10-lane shooting simulator systems to the Nigerian Army. These references reflect its work in naval operations, reconnaissance and surveillance, and personnel training.

Integrated border security will be a key focus of HAVELSAN’s discussions at the exhibition. The company combines surveillance, detection and response coordination capabilities to support border protection and critical infrastructure security. Its integration expertise enables platforms, sensors and systems from different suppliers to work together, helping customers build on existing investments.

HAVELSAN’s command-and-control portfolio supports coordination across land, maritime and air operations. ADVENT enables the integrated management of naval sensors and weapons, while the DOOB command-and-control family supports information sharing and operational coordination at different command levels. MATRA solutions address coastal surveillance and vessel traffic management.

Under its Digital Troops concept, HAVELSAN brings together autonomy and mission-management capabilities to support unmanned aerial, ground and maritime platforms operating together. Its simulation and training portfolio covers shooting, sniper, tank, armoured vehicle, parachute and urban operations training, alongside electronic warfare test and training ranges and wargaming solutions. Its wider digital portfolio includes information and communication technologies, biometric identification, smart city applications and cybersecurity.

As part of the AFRIDEX programme, Şevket Ünal, HAVELSAN Vice President for International Business Development and Marketing, will speak at the panel “From Partnership to Production – Advancing Türkiye–Nigeria Defence Industry Cooperation” on 28 October, from 09:45 to 10:45.

During the exhibition, HAVELSAN will meet Nigerian institutions, regional stakeholders and local industry representatives to discuss customer requirements and potential cooperation models, including joint production, technology sharing and long-term support.

Military delegations, government representatives and industry partners are invited to meet the HAVELSAN team at Booth 2117 in the Türkiye Pavilion to discuss their requirements and explore the company’s products and solutions.
