TACV and ITP In Service Support, have signed an exclusive Maintenance Support Agreement that will cover full engine maintenance services for TACV ATR42-500 and ATR72-500 PW127 engine fleet. The contract will initially last for five years.
TACV is a scheduled and charter, passenger and cargo airline based in Praia, Cape Verde. It is the national flag carrier of Cape Verde, operating inter-island services and flights to Europe, North America, South America and the West African mainland. Its main base is Sal Airport, with smaller ones at Praia International Airport and São Pedro Airport. TACV fleet is composed of 1 ATR42-500, 2 ATR72-500, 2 Boeing 737 and 1 Boeing 757
ITP ISS has proved in the last 2 years to be a total reliable partner thanks to its wide PW127 experience and its high customer service orientation.
The signature of this contract is the result of a consolidated relationship based on the delivery of high quality service which provides an international airline, like TACV, the peace of mind and engine availability that its operations and customer require.
ITP is a Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the PW100 engine family and under this contract will involve its dedicated PW100 maintenance service center in Ajalvir (Spain), along with focused customer support teams in order to meet TACV needs of a dedicated and continuous support.
Some of the most relevant services that ITP ISS will provide to TACV are:

· – Unscheduled revisions (Basic Unscheduled Engine Removal)
· – Overhaul of engines fuel nozzles
· – 24H AOG & On-Field MRS (Mobile Repair Service), troubleshooting, inspections
· – Engine Condition Trend Monitoring Advice
· – Rental Engine Availability
