HAVELSAN’s ADVENT Common Operational Picture (ADVENT COP) system brought together information from more than 40 surface, air, land and underwater platforms during TURNAs-2026, Türkiye’s national unmanned maritime systems exercise. The system supported the coordination of participating assets by presenting their position, status and telemetry data within a shared operational picture.
Fielded in cooperation with the Turkish Naval Forces, ADVENT COP supported scenario-based tasking across different unmanned systems. HAVELSAN also provided video management and tactical picture capabilities, giving command personnel access to information from assets operating across the exercise area.
HAVELSAN’s Video Management System (VMS) also provided live feeds from more than 30 unmanned vehicles through a shared infrastructure. TALAY provided web-based access to the tactical maritime picture.
The TURNAs network, established jointly by HAVELSAN and the Turkish Naval Forces, provided the command-and-control, monitoring and management infrastructure for the Tactical Control Centre and the Distinguished Observer Area, enabling exercise activities to be monitored in real time.
SANCAR Demonstrates Integration with a Host Ship
Equipped with the ADVENT ROTA Mission System, the SANCAR Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle conducted reconnaissance, surveillance and target-reporting tasks, contributing information to the tactical maritime picture.
Through its network-enabled integration with the ADVENT Combat Management System, SANCAR demonstrated its ability to operate as an organic asset of a host ship.
In a separate mission connecting maritime and air assets, a SAGAN UAV carried aboard USV-12 completed an autonomous take-off. The demonstration also included firing non-explosive training ammunition at a simulated coastal target. Jointly developed by HAVELSAN and VN Maritime Technologies, USV-12 served as the launch platform for the airborne mission. The BARKAN unmanned ground vehicle and BULUT UAV also took part in the exercise.
The exercise demonstrated how a common operational picture, live video and integration with a ship’s combat management system can support the coordinated employment of unmanned systems across different operational domains.
