ELT Group is participating in Euronaval 2026, where it will showcase its portfolio of solutions for the management of Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Operation, for the protection of naval platforms and forces, with a focus on electronic warfare capabilities and drone warfare management systems. The technologies on the stand reflect the Group’s experience in developing and integrating advanced systems for some of the most advanced European and international naval platforms, as well as its ability to support navies in increasingly complex, multi-domain operational scenarios characterised by conventional and hybrid threats.
With more than one hundred naval vessels, sea helicopter and Maritime Patrol Aircrafts equipped worldwide and an established presence in the Italian Navy’s main programmes, ELT Group is today one of Europe’s leading players of electronic warfare in the Maritime Domain. The Group’s expertise ranges from electronic surveillance, intelligence and protection systems to solutions for countering emerging threats, as well as command and control systems for the integrated management of electromagnetic spectrum operations.
Among the capabilities presented at Euronaval there is Adrian, the Drone Warfare Management System solution developed to protect naval forces against unmanned threats. Designed for integration even on board legacy platforms, the solution combines multi-spectral sensors, effectors, and command and control within a single modular operational architecture, supporting every phase of counter-drone defence, from detection and identification through to threat evaluation and neutralisation. Already deployed in operational and experimental activities on board Italian Navy frontline warships, this capability provides a tangible response to the growing proliferation of drones and uncrewed systems in the maritime domain and is one of the few solutions of its kind currently available for integration on naval platforms.
ELT is presenting the full range of innovations within its extensive naval-domain EW solutions portfolio, including:
– The naval jammer for combatants and escort units: a flagship, a mature solution that has already been field-tested and is designed to strengthen platform and naval force protection in high-intensity operational scenarios. Featuring Electro-magnetic Defence and Electromagnetic Attack capabilities and integrated into the onboard electronic warfare suite, the system helps in reducing the effectiveness of the adversary’s detection, surveillance, tracking and engagement capabilities, increasing the vessel’s survivability and the naval force’s freedom of manoeuvre.
– ELT Group’s triple-band DIRCM system uses Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) technology to protect small and medium-sized aircraft against infrared-guided surface-to-air missiles, including MANPADS. Integrated into the electronic warfare suite, it can operate independently or in cooperation with flares. The naval version helps protect ships against small, short-range EO/IR-guided missiles, supporting survivability in coastal, shallow-water and amphibious operations.
At Euronaval there will be also EMSO C2, the command and control system developed by ELT Group for the planning, coordination and management of electromagnetic spectrum operations. The solution integrates distributed sensors, effectors, naval platforms and unmanned assets within a single operational architecture, collecting, correlating and fusing information from heterogeneous sources to generate a shared Recognized Electromagnetic Picture updated in real time. Through EMSO C2, navies can conduct distributed operations while retaining centralised command and control functions, improving situational awareness, accelerating decision-making and increasing the operational effectiveness of the entire naval force.
Participation in Euronaval confirms ELT Group’s commitment to developing advanced technologies for naval force protection and electromagnetic spectrum management. By integrating electronic warfare capabilities, Counter-UAS systems, and command and control solutions, the Group contributes to the evolution of modern maritime capabilities, supporting navies as they address the new challenges posed by increasingly interconnected, distributed and multi-domain operational scenarios.
Visitors to ELT Group’s stand (Hall 6, G15) will also have the opportunity to experience the EW Naval Simulation Lab, an immersive, high-fidelity simulation environment in which naval EW operators can hone their ability to analyse and identify radar threats, apply electronic countermeasures and assess their effectiveness. The Lab has been developed using advanced simulators capable of accurately modelling the full range of factors that define a complex naval electronic warfare scenario.
