Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 5 November 2025: Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national defense and security champion, a PIF company, welcomed His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, King of Malaysia, and his accompanying delegation, accompanied by Minister of Tourism H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb, during his visit to SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries, a subsidiary of SAMI, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom.
His Majesty and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival by Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, Chief Executive Officer of SAMI, along with senior company officials.
During the visit, His Majesty toured the company’s facilities and was briefed on its advanced capabilities in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), and its role in localizing the aerospace industries in line with Saudi Vision 2030, strengthening the Kingdom’s defense industry ecosystem and supporting its growing position within the global aerospace sector.
The visit reflects their shared commitment to expanding cooperation in the aerospace industry.
