Turkish defense firm STM and Malaysia’s Ventura IOT Sdn. Bhd. have finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems.
The agreement was concluded in Kuala Lumpur during the ASEAN 2025 Summit, which Malaysia is chairing under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.”
STM emphasized the partnership is a strategic move to strengthen its international cooperation and expand its technology-driven operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
Ventura IOT, based in Selangor, specializes in system integration and surveillance solutions, including fiber optic sensing and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The MoU formalizes the intent for both companies to specifically explore joint opportunities in surveillance and tactical UAV technologies for various defense and security applications.
