Event takes place September 9–12; Company to showcase advanced technology in bombs, rockets, and ammunition
CSD – Components and Defense Systems will be one of the Brazilian highlights at the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI), the global defense and security exhibition held in London from September 9 to 12. The company’s participation is part of its second-half initiatives of the year aimed at strengthening its brand in international markets.
The company will be at Brazil Pavilion, organized by the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries (ABIMDE). This will be CSD’s second appearance at DSEI. In 2023, the company showcased its advanced technology in the development and production of ammunition, aerial bombs, and rockets, as well as various components for the Defense sector.
This year, CSD will present its portfolio of Defense Systems and Components. Highlights include MK80 series bombs, 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm mortar ammunition, 155mm howitzer ammunition, 70mm rockets – MK66 and MK40 models, fuze systems for ammunition, and UAV solutions with weapon systems.
“Participating in DSEI is a strategic opportunity to expand our international presence and consolidate our brand in the global defense sector,” said CSD’s sales director, Paulo Kleinke. “We expect the exhibition to provide the ideal environment to present our portfolio, strengthen partnerships, attract new clients, and promote the company’s technological innovation.”
Kleinke also emphasized the importance of ABIMDE’s support: “We are grateful for the opportunity provided by the association, which made our presence at this major event possible,” he added.
CSD – Components and Defense Systems is a Brazilian company with expertise in the manufacturing of aerial bombs, rockets, fuzes, ammunition, and other components. The company is part of a group that includes five factories located across Brazil, operating in the fields of foundry, machining, and assembly.
CSD is part of Brazil’s Defense and Security Industrial Base (BIDS) and is classified as a Strategic Defense Company (EED). Moreover, several of its products are certified as Strategic Defense Products (PED) by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.
The company has technical knowledge in the development, production, and assembly of metallic components, using modern processes. CSD applies Brazilian technology and plays a significant role in the international market.
