Thomas Global Systems, a leader in the design, production and support of avionic display systems technology, has reached a significant milestone since ramping up repair turn-times. The group’s 15,000th avionic cathode ray tube (CRT) display was produced in the new Irvine, California facility just 18 months into operations at the site. The state-of-the-art facility maximizes use of the latest technology to innovate processes to achieve cost-savings and sustain cockpit life.
An expert in the sector, Thomas Global Systems is the world’s leading vendor of long-term support for cockpit CRT displays and is consistently chosen by airlines, MROs, government agencies and other operators for its long-term cockpit CRT display support programs, fast turnaround times and guaranteed performance.
The opening of the additional Part-145 repair station in Irvine, California 18 months ago, has further consolidated the Company’s industry position as the global leader in long term avionic CRT support.
“North America represents one of the largest markets worldwide for avionic CRTs, so opening this facility was a key strategic move for us. Deployment of the skilled production base at Irvine has developed ways to dramatically reduce turnaround times, especially for our North American and European customers, and it further reinforces our commitment to being on hand to support and manage all of our customers’ long term CRT needs” says Angus Hutchinson, CEO, Thomas Global Systems. “The fact that the group’s 15,000th CRT repair has been completed at our new U.S. facility further validates our decision to operate here. We are proud to say that Thomas Global Systems is now operational across multiple time zones, servicing customer requirements around the clock.”
