Naval Group and TERMA Group Join Forces to Develop Cutting-Edge Counter-Drone System

Naval Group and TERMA Group signed a collaboration agreement yesterday to cooperate on developing a counter drone combat system.

By adding the SCANTER 6002, the solution will be elevated to one of the strongest on the market, to fight against asymmetric threats.

The Scanter 6002 is a 2D radar which, associated with an optronic device, should improve the accuracy of threat detection, allowing Naval Group’s system to propose the best course of action to fight the threat.

This agreement is part of the Air-Surface Fight innovation roadmap (Smart Naval Force axis) and marks an important step in our strategy for developing anti-drone systems on board our ships.
