Patria attends the global defence and security exhibition Eurosatory in Paris on 17th-21st of June, 2024. At the event Patria will showcase the general layout of the concept vehicle based on the EDIDP FAMOUS concept results and EDF FAMOUS 2 cooperative development work. The aim of the FAMOUS programme is to improve the performance of new and existing armoured vehicles with the support of the EU funding. Led by Patria, the industrial consortium includes several European companies.
Additionally, Patria exhibits a wide range of its state-of-the-art offering, which is divided into three branches – Protected mobility and defence systems, Through life capability and Battlefield and critical systems.

Protected mobility and defence systems
Patria AMV XP 8×8 is state of the art, modular and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing superior fire power, protection and mobility. AMV XP 8×8 is available in two different hull lengths and heights. The vehicle is also available with amphibious capability. This makes AMV XP 8×8 ideal platform for various missions and variants, such as Infantry Fighting Vehicle, Armoured Personnel Carrier, Command and Control, Ambulance Vehicle, Recovery Vehicle and 120 mm NEMO mortar system.
At Eurosatory Patria exhibits Patria AMV XP with the John Cockerill Defence JCD 3030 modular turret with 30mm main weapon. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with Vegvisir Core advanced situational awareness system, MedWear EVA 23S Tactical Evacuation Litter and Savox intercom with wireless extension.
Patria 6×6 vehicle is modular and high-performance, while simple, robust and affordable to provide protected tactical troop transport capability in larger fleet quantities. It provides modern protection capability and high mobility. Patria 6×6’s modular design allows a wide variety of specific configurations for diverse missions, such as Armoured Personnel Carrier, Company Command vehicle, Medical Evacuation vehicle, Heavy APC and 120 mm Patria Nemo mortar system.
With 6×6 Patria provides ultimate security of supply via technology transfer program, local manufacturing concept, and through-life support together with local partners.
Patria 6×6 vehicle is the selected the platform for the multinational CAVS programme currently joined by Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Germany. Patria 6×6 deliveries are ongoing to Latvia, Finland and Sweden, and vehicles are in operational use. Patria has already received orders for nearly 700 Patria 6×6 vehicles. The programme is open to European countries.
At Eurosatory Patria 6×6 is showcased with Patria Nemo 120mm turreted mortar system, SSZ Camouflage Technology Mobile Camouflage Kit, MedWear EVA 23S Tactical Evacuation Litter and Savox wireless intercom.
FAMOUS concept vehicle
Based on the EDIDP FAMOUS concept results and EDF FAMOUS 2 cooperative development work, Patria introduces tracked concept vehicle at Eurosatory. The new protected tracked vehicle system provides overwhelming tactical and operational mobility in the most demanding weather, soft soil and extreme harsh terrain conditions. This new tracked vehicle will be a breakthrough; a modern cost-effective alternative for traditionally articulated vehicles and light tracked vehicles.
Patria NEMO is a turreted, lightweight and remote-controlled 120 mm mortar system with a high level of mobility, protection and accuracy. Patria NEMO is capable of both direct and indirect fire, even when the platform is moving, and it can be integrated to various platforms; tracked or wheeled. There is also a container-based solution available. Patria NEMO can utilize its sensor system to acquire and engage targets independently or share the targets to other firing units. Patria NEMO: Impressive fire support and rapid response with high crew protection – all in one.
Through life capability offering
Patria OPTIME covers a broad range of services and solutions impacting the fleet availability, such as fleet maintenance, upcoming modification projects and needed integrations in the later stages of the lifecycle as well as supply chain management and training services. The new service concept for the sustainment of military equipment combines engineering expertise with efficient data utilization in a modular and tailored way and it is set up in phases together with the customer.
Battlefield and critical systems
Patria SONAC ACS acoustic mine sweep is specially designed for sweeping influence mines with advanced acoustic triggering. Its compact, lightweight size is designed for use with unmanned craft. At Eurosatory Patria SONAC ACS is showcased with real-size mock-up.
Patria SONAC DTS is an ASW Sonar system offering both active and passive modes of operation with two separate wet-end sub-systems, VDS and TAS, which can be used simultaneously.
Patria CANDL provides a single data link solution for communications requiring high reliability, such as UAS payload data and C2. It enables air-to-air and air-to-ground Ad Hoc Networking as well as relaying for BLOS capability, thus enabling capabilities such as MUMT – Manned UnManned Teaming and LVC – Live Virtual Constructive training.
Patria ARIS is a remotely operable ELINT system for interception, recording and analysis of modern and increasingly complex signal environment. It provides an extensive set of high-performance tools for operator-driven ELINT signal analysis.
Patria ARIS-E is a remote operable ESM/ELINT system used for intercepting, recognising, geolocating and tracking radar emitters. The system produces a situational picture of the targets within the operating area. The Operator can also conduct a more detailed analysis of the received radar signals.
Patria MUSCL is a passive radar system providing resilient, covert and easily deployable air surveillance in standalone mode as well as in networked mode using multiple MUSCL stations. The system provides operational relevancy in various applications such as air surveillance, early warning, border control and critical infrastructure protection by detecting, locating and tracking silently full-range of aerial threats in modern battlefield including also the stealth ones.
Patria TADS is a weapon system and platform independent mission and military exercise debriefing system. TADS provides superior analysing tools for tactical mission and exercise debriefing.
