Infoblox Appoints Ricardo Moreno as Vice President of Worldwide Channels

Infoblox Inc., the network control company, today announced that Ricardo Moreno has joined Infoblox as vice president of worldwide channels, effective immediately. Moreno is responsible for all aspects of the channel partner business, including channel partner recruiting, development and programs across all routes to market.

Moreno joins Infoblox after 18 years at Cisco, where he most recently was vice president for the U.S. and Latin America field partner organization, leading Cisco’s biggest and most critical channel partner business group.

Previously, as senior director for strategy, planning and programs, Moreno was responsible for Cisco’s widely recognized Worldwide Partner Program. Under Moreno’s leadership, Cisco launched the Teaming Incentive Program, the Cloud and Managed Services Program and Architecture-based Specializations. Before that role, Moreno was the chief of staff for Cisco’s channel chief, helping shape the Cisco worldwide partner organization. Moreno also built the Latin Americas channel organization, and held leading roles in emerging markets.

Prior to Cisco, Ricardo worked for Goodyear Tire, Mercedes Benz and Banco Bradesco.

A trusted advisor who has built strong relationships with leaders at partner companies, Moreno has been in the information technology industry for over 25 years – 15 of those in the partner business – working and living in the United States, the United Kingdom and Brazil.

“Ricardo has the skills and experience to build a world-class channel partner program for Infoblox,” said Thorsten Freitag, executive vice president of worldwide field operations at Infoblox. “I’m confident Ricardo will drive ‘win-win’ improvements in our channel program, making it easier and more profitable for channel partners to work with us.”

“I’m excited to join Infoblox, an industry leader in network control, because the company has a great story to share with channel partners and is very committed to a partner-centric model,” said Moreno. “As networks become more complex, Infoblox has a great opportunity to help customers – working with our channel partners globally – to reduce complexity while increasing reliability, efficiency and security.”
