Leading provider of C3I and communications solutions for defence, security and professional public safety users, Savox Communications, will be exhibiting at IDEX 2015 (22-26 Feb) in Abu Dhabi (Stand 06-B41), where it will be making a series of key announcements relating to Soldier Modernisation Headgear and C3 systems of both regional and global, strategic importance.
The company will be unveiling an important new future infantry soldier modernisation headgear system that has major applications for soldiers on tomorrow’s battlefield, as well as for homeland security and special ops forces, both regionally in the Middle East, where Savox already has a number of Special Forces customers, and globally. The first major armed forces’ customer for the new system will be announced at the show.
Savox will also be announcing that development of its compact intercom system, CPIC, has now been completed. The system broadens the C3 capabilities of Savox’ software-defined lightweight, rugged command and control system, IMP, on which CPIC is based. The new intercom system is suited to applications on land, for the widest B-vehicle inventory, and at sea, aboard smaller vessels, such as RIBs, as well as the largest, such as destroyers and aircraft carriers. First installations and end users will also be announced during IDEX 2015.
Chief Strategic Officer of Savox Communications, Mikael Westerlund, who will be at IDEX underpinning the importance of these major announcements for the company, said, “For more than 30 years Savox has designed and developed many sophisticated communications solutions for a wide range of users. Our news at IDEX 2015 will demonstrate new strengths in the defence and security markets and, in one case, will give everyone a glimpse of the future for personal battlefield headgear.”
Full interactive demonstrations of the equipment systems announced will be on the Savox stand for visitors to experience for themselves.
