HAVELSAN’s Technological Power at Winter Exercise-2025!
As a leader in Turkey’s defense industry, HAVELSAN demonstrated its technological prowess during Winter Exercise-2025 with the deployment of the BARKAN Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). BARKAN, which was included in the Turkish Armed Forces’ inventory in 2023, has been actively used in various operational roles, significantly enhancing the tactical capabilities of military units.
During the exercise, BARKAN showcased its advanced autonomous capabilities and modular design, successfully executing missions in reconnaissance-surveillance, logistics support, armed engagement, and electronic warfare. Thanks to its high mobility in challenging winter conditions, precision engagement against threats, and seamless integration with other unmanned systems, BARKAN became one of the most noteworthy elements of the exercise.
The system also attracted significant interest from martyrs’ families and veterans who attended the event, reinforcing Turkey’s commitment to strengthening its defense industry with indigenous and innovative solutions.
At HAVELSAN, we take great pride in developing cutting-edge technologies that empower the Turkish Armed Forces in the field, ensuring operational superiority in all conditions.
