Türkiye’s ASELSAN Targets Latin America’s Security Needs at LAAD 2025

ASELSAN will demonstrate its assertiveness in meeting the security needs of Latin American countries with its advanced guidance systems, public security, surveillance and communication solutions it will exhibit at LAAD 2025. 

ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense company, will participate in LAAD 2025, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 1-4, to foster regional partnerships and explore new collaboration opportunities to support Latin America’s increasing defense and security requirements. The company aims to enhance its role in the region by providing cutting-edge precision guidance systems, innovative public safety solutions, and cost-effective modernization programs by leveraging the well-established industry in Brazil. 

At stand G50, ASELSAN will showcase SADAK 2T smart twin carriage rack, TOLUN GPS/INS-guided munition, GÖZDE 82 laser precision guidance kit, and LGK 82 laser guidance kit in the air-launched munitions field, along with public security solutions, including ASTELA 3710 mission-critical hand-held radios, MİDAS intrusion detection system, and ODAKAN “CityGuard” surveillance product family. 

In addition to its demonstrations at LAAD, ASELSAN’s ongoing modernization efforts in Latin America highlight its capability to provide tailored and mission-ready upgrade solutions across multiple defense domains. The company has already proven its expertise through its modernization of Leopard 2A4 tanks for the Chilean Land Forces and its contributions to secure the borders of several countries in the region. With its newly opened Santiago office, ASELSAN continues to pursue new opportunities in the region, offering innovative upgrade programs to extend the lifecycle and operational readiness of land, air, and naval platforms.
