Turkish defense company ASELSAN announced on Monday that it has signed a $42 million export agreement with a customer in the Middle East.
In a statement published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), ASELSAN said: “An export agreement has been signed between ASELSAN and one of its customers in the Middle East region, regarding the direct sale of payloads for airborne vehicles, with a total value of $42 million.”
The company did not disclose the identity of the contracting party.
Founded in 1975 at the initiative of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, ASELSAN was established to meet the Turkish military’s needs for communication devices and is renowned for manufacturing electronic systems and devices for military purposes.
ASELSAN is a leading Turkish company in the design, production, and installation of communication tools and systems for land, air, and naval forces, according to military standards.
