Incorporated in 1908, Warde Steel and Metals is located in the vicinity of the Port of Beirut. Initially, the company was dealing with construction materials and steel bars and introduced the carbon steel in Lebanon in the late fifties. At the end of the Lebanese war in the early nineties, the company took a new turning point in its activities of the reconstruction of Lebanon by introducing new applications in different sectors of activities.
In 2003 Warde Steel and Metals with LEEDS International have made a first move in the Middle East market by introducing the newly designed half pipe tipper in HARDOX 450.
In the cement sector, many new applications came with new savings with Magotteaux line of products. In the recycling sector, Warde Steel and Metals was a pioneer in introducing SSAB and ASSAB line of products innovating to save by new applications. In the field of defense, Warde Steel and Metals has a presence back to early 2000 when it contributed by its Armox, Hardox line and later with Ruukki in providing protection plate selected for high performance in today’s most dangerous environments where there’s no room for compromise and threats can come from any direction.
