GDA 2015, Gulf’s Platform for Defense and Aerospace Innovations!

GDA 2015 is the Gulf Defense and Aerospace Exhibition held in Kuwait between the 8th and 10th of December, to exhibit the modern innovations in the defense and aerospace sector. This event had started on 2011 and occurs biennially at the International Fair Grounds, Mishref in Kuwait City. This exhibition has become a platform for all the Land defense, air defense, sea defense and homeland security trade chiefs and players, whereby the aviation, aerospace and defense companies exhibit their recent and brilliant innovations.

The specialist defense market intelligence firm, “Forecast International”, projects that in 2010 the GCC states (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman & Bahrain) will invest $63 billion in defense and security spending and that this figure will increase in 2015 to $65 billion. To confirm these estimates, the offset specialist, Blenheim Capital Partners, estimates that the GCC states will spend in excess of $105 billion in the next two years. Hence, for such an active market there was a need for parallel shows and exhibitions. Here comes Gulf Defense and Aerospace Exhibition!

The leading companies that will showcase their products in the GDA 2015 are: Boeing Defense, Space & Security, General Dynamics Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Raytheon Company, Textron Defense Systems, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, BAE Systems, MBDA Systems, DCNS, Thales and Renault Trucks Defense in addition to many other corporations from all over the world.

GDA 2015 will be organized by TNT Productions and Kuwait International Fair Co. This exhibition will be held in Hall Number 8. Considered as the fairgrounds’ flagship, the most recent and ultra-modern 7,000 square meter hall displays a striking exterior design that is visible from miles around. Apart from housing a vast exhibition space, the hall also has a spacious VIP lounge and reception area that both have easy interior access points. The 200-seat theater features state-of-the-art technical systems that are perfect for multi-media events, film, lectures and meetings.

The previous shows on 2011 and 2013 were a great success! However this year is expected to excel higher than the previous ones!
