AJW Aviation has commenced a far-reaching programme to augment its operational skills base with the appointment of Guy van den Berg as Director of Contract Services. He joins AJW following a highly successful career in the military both as a helicopter and an air transport operator across the UK, EU, Middle East and Asia. For the last three years, he has been a senior leader responsible for air capability planning and assisting defence transformation across the air environment. Most recently he has worked for the MOD on defence test and evaluation.

He will lead AJW’s Continuous Improvement initiative with easyJet that will lean into automation and digitalisation to reduce overheads and our cost base. His wider role is to strengthen our service provider relationships with all contracted customers and work with them to build rock solid processes that support their future growth ambitions.”
